What the world needs now is love, sweet love! That song resonates now more than ever, as does my commitment to our Big Brothers Big Sisters Hampshire County annual Daffodil Run.
Today, more than ever, we are all committed to WHATEVER IT TAKES to get through this time of crisis -and we are all searching for ways to cope with this new reality either through - meditation, song, reading, Netflix binging, supporting local - I have turned to all of these but I am now ramping up my exercise routine to stay strong and to help Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hampshire County to continue strong, healthy matches.
Those in isolation can be more at risk than ever so continuing the same caring and steadfast support of online visits through our mentor matching program, will alleviate a lot of fear and worry. So showing your love, sweet love...in whatever way you can...will help our beloved BBBSHC keep our matches as mentally healthy and strong as possible throughout this crisis.
Mostly, it takes caring and sharing of love to get through this.. maybe you will reconnect with those you lost touch and/or connect with family and friends daily - I am trying to do both because I know that it's these bonds that will hold me up. Let's share love, sweet love for our matches too!
