Gifford Cat Shelter is a wonderful place, and in my years as a volunteer I have had the privilege to meet many curious cats, kissable kittens, and grumpy grimalkins. I'm running this year in the memory of many such cats who we've lost over the years, but also for the hopeful future for those who are among us today, clawing and purring their ways into our hearts.
