Shipyard Maine Coast Marathon & Maine Coast Half Marathon

Hi!

As many of my close friends and family know, my grandfather passed away this past September. Not only was he a mentor, but an inspiration to me and the choices I make every day. Perseverance, stubbornness and a willingness to seek out the best in every day, he taught and influenced me in a way that I can never repay.

In memory of my grandfather, I would like to raise a goal of $2,000 for Cancer Research. He battled lung cancer for over 7 years.

About Maine Coast Marathon & Maine Coast Half Marathon
We have partnered with Southern Maine Health Care (SMHC) and their Center for Breast Care. We will be donating a large portion of the proceeds from the Maine Coast Half Marathon and the Bosom Buddy Relay directly to SMHC's Center for Breast Care. We ask that you take a minute and consider running for something bigger than you. As SMHC tells us, one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer. All of us know someone who has been diagnosed. Think of the person you know and then think how your fundraising could make a difference for that person and the next person that is diagnosed.
