The numbers are disturbing: 44,000 homeless children in Massachusetts, with an average age of 8. How do homeless children ever have a chance of breaking the cycle of poverty? One way is through help from School on Wheels Massachusetts, which provides one on one tutoring to homeless children. So I am walking to outrun homelessness to benefit School on Wheels Massachusetts on April 25 at Borderland State Park. You are welcome to join me for the walk and/or to donate on this page. Every dollar helps. Thank you for your support!

About Outrunning Homelessness Race and Fun Walk
Outrunning Homelessness is an annual 5K race and 2.6 mile fun walk held in April at DCR's Borderland State Park. This event, sponsored by Crescent Credit Union, is a fundraiser for School on Wheels of Massachusetts, empowering children impacted by homelessness to reach their full potential through educational support and one-one-one mentoring. The race was founded in 2011 by Race Director and Suffolk University undergraduate student Dennis Harkins, and the Oliver Ames School on Wheels Club. The event will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at DCR's Borderland State Park in Easton at 9AM. Stay Connected! Got questions?
