As all of you know, I am a big advocate for education. I believe every child deserve the opportunity to receive an education and that economic status should not hinder their ability to do so. About Outrunning Homelessness Race and Fun Walk
Outrunning Homelessness is an annual 5K race and 2.6 mile fun walk held in April at DCR's Borderland State Park. This event, sponsored by Crescent Credit Union, is a fundraiser for School on Wheels of Massachusetts, empowering children impacted by homelessness to reach their full potential through educational support and one-one-one mentoring. The race was founded in 2011 by Race Director and Suffolk University undergraduate student Dennis Harkins, and the Oliver Ames School on Wheels Club.
The event will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at DCR's Borderland State Park in Easton at 9AM.
