My dear friend Clint DeSena, after marrying his wonderful wife Mar in May and welcoming a beautiful daughter, Callie in September, lost his battle with brain cancer shortly after the end of 2014. He is one of the best people on this earth, whose hilarious laugh and warm heart are sorely missed by anyone who's ever known him.

Please consider supporting my participation in the DeSena Dash 5K to raise funds for the Callie DeSena College Fund and for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.

About DeSena Dash
Since its founding in 1947, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, Massachusetts has been committed to providing adults and children with cancer with the best treatment available today while developing tomorrow's cures through cutting-edge research. Clint went to Dana Farber Cancer Institute to receive treatment during his fight against cancer. Making his time spent in their facility as comfortable as possible. As an affiliate of Harvard Medical School and a Comprehensive Cancer Center designated by the National Cancer Institute, the Institute also provides training for new generations of physicians and scientists, designs programs that promote public health particularly among high-risk and underserved populations, and disseminates innovative patient therapies and scientific discoveries to our target community across the United States and throughout the world. Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's ultimate goal is the eradication of cancer, AIDS, and related diseases and the fear that they engender.
