This Saturday Timmy will participate in the Fourth Annual Amego 5K Run/Walk. I personally have been involved with this project from its inception, from the planning process through handling the registration process the day of the race. I normally do not ask for donations, but this cause is so near and dear to my heart. Timmy has been with Amego for seven and a half years now, starting in the children's school and now in the adult services department. The Amego agency has transformed Timmy in so many wonderful ways and supports him in a caring manner every day. This fundraiser will provide for programs that state funding does not and will directly benefit Timmy and his peers through wonderful social and recreational programs that would otherwise not be possible.
