Hi everyone - I'm raising funds for CMHA's third annual 5K fundraiser. CMHA relies on the generosity of our donors, friends, and supporters to help us bring vital treatment and care to adults, children, and families in central and northwest Connecticut who are struggling with mental health and/or substance dependence illnesses. Everyone knows someone - either in their own family, workplace, school, church, sports team, you name it - that has experienced some form of mental health issue - whether it be depression, anxiety, alcoholism, drug dependence, gambling, etc. Without the help of a great organization like ours, many people would continue to suffer from the effects of these conditions. That's why your donation is so important. You can help a child who has been abused get the needed, specialized counseling, or you could help a teen mother with a substance use issue recover from addiction, keep her baby, and keep her on track to graduate high school. These are just a few examples of the great work CMHA does everyday to help struggling people in our communities. Please give generously. Thank you.
