This hiker is going on a small run for a big cause!
As I hope everyone who is aware of the issue is, I am unsettled by the lack of media attention cases of missing children of color get, especially as I watch my friends overwhelmingly share posts about missing white children through social media. The Black & Missing Foundation, Inc., is "a non-profit organization whose mission is to bring awareness to missing persons of color; provide vital resources and tools to missing person’s families and friends and to educate the minority community on personal safety." I hope all of my friends will get involved whether by learning more about the issues, sharing *factual* information, joining the 5k, or by donating. Children are our future! (I know this and I don't even have any.) ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
