About This Event
The Camp CARE 5K is the biggest fundraising event of the year for Camp CARE. All proceeds go toward providing the opportunity for children with cancer and their siblings to come to camp and enjoy fun activities like swimming, boating, crafts, music, dancing and most importantly...making new friends!
Join us Saturday April 21st, 2018 for our annual 5k Run/ Walk to raise funds for Camp CARE to provide for children with cancer.
Register online today! Registration will be open until April 18th, 2018 at midnight. Registration will also be available the day of the event starting at 7 a.m. Register early to be guaranteed a t-shirt!
Pre-race packet pickup will be Friday April 20th at Omega Sports at the Arboretum from 5-8 p.m.
Our Mission:
Camp CARE is committed to providing a camp and other year-round activities for children up to age 16, who have or have had cancer, and their families in the Charlotte area.
Camp CARE (Cancer Ain’t Really the End) provides a weeklong summer camp and year-round activities to children who have or have had cancer and their families in the Charlotte area. A child is, first and foremost, a child – not just a cancer patient. We provide support, fun and friendship throughout a family’s journey.
Our summer camp and activities throughout the year are for kids in all stages of the treatment journey: on- or off-treatment, in remission or fighting relapse, no symptoms or side effects and those with physical and mental challenges.

Each year we look forward to not only seeing the amazing support through funds our teams raise, but what crazy costumes you put together each year! Whether it's a team of Super Heroes or team of jogging Santas the Camp CARE 5K wouldn't be the same without you!
