Event Information
The Event
The Palm Springs Pride Run & Walk is a 5K race through the beautiful and historic neighborhood of Old Las Palmas in sunny Palm Springs, California. The race is proudly organized by Palm Springs Front Runners and Walkers, a local chapter of International Front Runners, an informal network of LGBT running groups around the world.
Proceeds from the Palm Springs Pride Run & Walk benefit The LGBT Community Center of The Desert. A thriving, community-based organization, "The Center" provides vital services to its members, including mental health and wellness clinics, a community food bank, senior programming, and youth suicide prevention and anti-bullying programs.
The Palm Springs Pride Run & Walk is part of a weekend of activities celebrating Greater Palm Springs Pride! A portion of your registration fee helps to keep Coachella Valley's longest-running LGBT parade and festival in downtown Palm Springs, and FREE for all to attend. For everything you want to know about Greater Palm Springs Pride, go to www.pspride.org.
