About Us
Welcome to the 2nd Annual Hope and a Future Run!
Please join us for the Hope and a Future 1K, 5K, 10K Run on March 9th, as we highlight National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month and support a school that is making a world of difference in lives of children with these disabilities, The Imago Dei School at Trinity Classical Academy.
The Imago Dei School (IDS) serves a wide variety of students by offering a hope and a future to the under-served community of special needs students in the Santa Clarita Valley. Most IDS students have been diagnosed with learning and/or developmental disabilities. Many students are also diagnosed with associated learning challenges such as ADHD, sensory processing disorder, speech and language delays and executive functioning disorder. The commonality between all of our students is that they learn best in a specialized learning environment with individualized attention. The Imago Dei School is the only classical Christian special education school in the nation, and is setting the standard for Christian special education.
Profits from our event will go towards scholarship opportunities for children with developmental disabilities in the Santa Clarita Valley.

Kids are welcome to enjoy the kids zone and playground from 7am until 11:00am.
All participants REGISTERED BY Feb 11th will receive a t-shirt, goodie bag, and medal.** (JUST EXTENDED UNTIL FEB 20TH!)
Registrations AFTER Feb 11st will be FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED for t-shirt and goodie bags.
ONLY 5k/10k participants will have a timed race with their bib chip. 1K runners will have the option of wearing a bib, but this would only be for fun and not for timing purposes.
Online race registration will be over on March 5th at noon.
Walk up registration will be available at bib pick up and on race day.
*Strollers and Pets are allowed on the 5K/10K route, but will need to start in the back of the group for safety purposes. Pets must be on a static leash.
Bib Pick Up
Bib pick up will be on Friday, March 8th, at Trinity Classical Academy from 3:30-6:30 pm. On Wednesday, March 6th, you will receive an email with your Bib number. Please print out the email and bring it with you to pick up to verify your ID.

The 5K and 10K routes follow the beautiful paseo walkways in Valencia, California. They are smooth and paved, a runner's dream! Volunteers will be located along the path in order to direct participants and cheer them on. One water station will be out on the path for refreshments. Start and finish for 5K and 10K races will be at West Creek Park.
The 1K fun run course will take place at West Creek Park only, with the guidance of many fun volunteers and staff! The route will primarily be concrete sidewalks and grass.
***Only the 5K/10K races are timed***
Awards
Awards will be given for first, second, and third place male or female finishers in the 5k and 10k races individually.
Virtual Runner
Wish you could join us but you don't live in the Los Angeles area? Be a virtual runner! Run with us on Saturday, in your own town or on a treadmill! Go for a hike! Get active and go any distance. Then let us know you did it and we'll send you your medal and your shirt!

Race Day Expo
We are now accepting applications for vendors for our expo! It's been a blast in the past and we'd love to have your company represent with us. Please contact Dana at dhendrickson@trinityclassicalacademy.com for more information or to apply.
Kids Zone
Kids will have a blast at Hope and a Future Run! The kid's zone will be set up by 7am and will run until 10:30am. Bounce houses! Fantastic face painting! Interactive photo booth! There is also a playground for all ages located near the kids zone.

Refunds
Hope and a Future Run is a rain or shine event! If rain is in the forecast, just remember to bring a poncho!
Unfortunately, we are unable to issue refunds for participants for any reason. Registered participants are able to transfer their registration to another person, please see the Transfer Registration link above or contact us at info@hopeandafuturerun.com.
In the event of an act of God or emergency, registrations and sponsorship costs will become donations. Thank you for understanding!
