Burbank Community YMCA Turkey Trot

The undersigned on his/her behalf and behalf of such children hereby releases, waives, discharges and covenants not to sue the YMCA, its directors, officers, employees and volunteers (hereinafter referred to as "releasees") and hereby agrees to indemnify and save and hold harmless the releasees from all liability, including, but not limited to the association, observation or participation in the Burbank Community YMCA Turkey Trot event or any related activities. The undersigned, for himself or herself and on behalf of such children and any personal representatives, heirs, and next of kin, hereby acknowledges, agrees and represents that he or she understands that running/walking a road race is a potentially hazardous activity and assumes full responsibility for risk of bodily injury, death or property damage and agrees to abide by the rules, procedures and by any decision the race officials have relative to their ability to safely complete the run. In cases of injury or illness, the undersigned on his or her behalf and behalf of such children gives consent to the releasees to notify emergency personnel and to secure, at the undersigned�s expense, necessary medical treatment, including, but not limited to emergency medical transportation. The undersigned on his or her behalf and behalf of such children gives the releasees and sponsors permission and consent, without limitation, now and for all time, the use of any film, photo, video or sound track associated with the Burbank Community YMCA Turkey Trot event or any related activities. The undersigned on his/her behalf and behalf of such children further expressly agrees that the foregoing release waiver and indemnity agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the law of the State of California and that if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.
