HISTORY
The races 38 year history began as a certified 5.2-mile race
in the town of Holliston and was held on the second Thursday in July. The race stayed in Holliston for a few years before moving to Wellesley and the third Thursday in July. After 17 years in Wellesley, the race found a new home at Weston High School. A local fan favorite for its road, track, and trail course, the Marathon Sports 5-Miler is the perfect midsummer classic.

The first 700 runners to register are guaranteed a shirt, and any leftover t-shirts after the race (unlikely) will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis to those who did not receive one.
