About this Event
Bring your family! The Beach Party 5k Fun Run and Roadrace will celebrate summer with LIVE BEACH MUSIC PERFORMED THROUGHOUT THE COURSE! This race benefits our town's Music Department (K-12). Come dressed to impress with beach apparel and props!
Walkers, strollers, and surfers are very welcome to support this event! This is a chip-timed event for competitive runners, but about half of the participants walk/jog the course, so don't be intimidated!
ADULT: $20
AGE 11-19 yrs old: $15
KID'S RACE <10 yrs old: $5
Late registrations (after May 15) will cost an additional $5, so register now!
T-shirt (Dry-Fit, with large race logo): $5
Teams
Teams of 5+ will get a $5 refund on each person's registration! Grab your friends, family and coworkers and tell them you need them for morale support (...and the discount!)

Course
Live musicians will be jamming out Beach Music throughout the course!
The Beach Party 5k course begins at North Attleboro High School, goes around the neighboring streets to finish with a 3/4 lap around the North Attleboro High School Track, where runners will be welcomed back with a Beach Party and reception!
Yes, there will be beach balls, hula hoops, and really great food.
Awards
Top 3 Overall finishers for men and women will receive medals and donated prizes. Beach Party costume contests will be held for best-dressed individual and swaggiest-team!
Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in the following age divisions in each gender:
10-15
16-19
20-29
30-39
40-49
50-59
60+
AND... the fastest team will also win an award! (we will average the 5 fastest runners of each team)
T-shirts and Number pickup
We have dry-fit race shirts available for $5 at the time of registration, and $10 on race day. Shirts will only be guaranteed if pre-ordered by May 4, and will be very limited supply if requested afterward.
Tech shirts, bibs, and registration will be available in the North Attleboro High School Lobby during the Fine Arts Festival on Friday, May 19, from 6:30-8:30 p.m., and on Race Day (May 21) from 8:00-9:30 a.m.
Feel free to enjoy a free concert during the early pickup hours (May19) in the auditorium, and a free art gallery in the gymnasium as part of our Fine Arts Festival!
Kid's Race
Children aged 2-10 are eligible to run in our Kid's Race! Registration is only $5, and medals of participation will be provided to all children in the Kid's Race. Children's race shirts are available for $5 (only available before May 1!)
The Kid's races will begin at 9:30 a.m., and the course will be around the high school track. Distances will be a 1/2 lap for 2-4 year olds (1/8 mile), and a full lap for 5-10 (1/4 mile).
Parents ARE allowed to hold the hands of the 2-4 year-old children, if desired.
Post Race Party
Bring your family! We're hiring a rock band, having hula-hoop contests, face painting, a kid's race, foods, beverages, and much more. Celebrate the start of summer with this fun family friendly event that supports our local music department!
Parking
Traffic directors will point you to the closest available spots in the many parking lots around North Attleboro High School and Middle School. These are all very close to the registration tables and start line!
