Who Does the Race Benefit?
Heart the Homeless benefits Harbor Interfaith Services, located in San Pedro, CA. The agency's mission is to empower the homeless and working poor to achieve self-sufficiency by providing support services including shelter, transitional housing, food, job placement, advocacy, childcare, education, and life-skills training. Harbor Interfaith serves the entire South Bay of Los Angeles County, providing services to over 9,500 people per year.

The race is a fundraiser to help the homeless. We invite you to participate in Peer-to-Peer Fundraising to raise money from friends, family and coworkers to help. Prizes will be awarded for those who solicit and receive the most--Knottsberry Farm Tickets, Movie Tickets, Museum Passes, and other items. Get a head start on the lines on race day and pick up your packet and register for the race at Road Runner Sports, Torrance on Friday, April 26, 2019, from noon to 4:00 p.m. Those who come in will receive $10 off your purchase of $30 or more OR if you’re a current VIP Club member, you will enjoy 25% off your entire purchase! (Some exclusions may apply, see store for details).

I warrant that I and or my dependent/s are in good health. I willingly assume any risk inherent in entering this event. This waiver extends to all claims of any kind and nature whatsoever, whether known or unknown. Furthermore, I permit pictures, recordings or any other record of this event on film, videotape, photographs, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of this event for legitimate purposes without compensation.
