Welcome to the Chris Sullivan 5K Run/Walk to Honor our Veterans
University of Massachusetts-Lowell and Sigma Phi Omicron Fraternity is hosting our 8th annual charity 5k to honor our veterans and support our troops in honor of one of our fallen brothers, CPT Chris Sullivan USA, who was a graduate of UMass-Lowell and brother in our fraternity. Our 5k benefits the UMass-Lowell Pershing Fund which helps UML veterans and their families with financial issues and attend UMass-Lowell

The race will be held at the Tsongas Arena in Lowell, MA on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 10:00am, this 5K Run/Walk is a fun event for the entire family.

T-Shirts
The first 300 runners that sign up online will be given a shirts, if you do not sign up before April 1st we cannot guarantee your size or that you will get a shirt.
The Course
The course will be a 5K route in historic Downtown Lowell along the Merrimack River and the UMass-Lowell Campus.

The course is flat and starts and ends at the Tsongas Arena. The course heads out towards Fox Hall and over the University Ave Bridge along the VFW HWY and over the Aiken Street Bridge the back the the Tsongas Arena.
Virtual 5k
If you live out of town or can't make it to the event sign up for the virtual 5k if you sign up by April 1 we will mail you a shirt. Get a group of friends together and support this great cause in memory of Chris

Race management reserves the right to postpone or cancel the event due to events out of management's control such as weather, natural disasters or other emergencies. No refunds will be issued under these circumstances. Management may also alter the course and distances for the safety of the athletes.
