BOOK IT for your library!
Join us for a 5K fundraiser to benefit the Billerica Library Foundation and the Family Friends of the Billerica Public Library, to make YOUR library even better! Runners, walkers, friends and families, all are welcome!
Course
USATF-certified 5K course (MA15018JK), starting and finishing at the Marshall Middle School in Billerica, MA.
Events
9:00 -- Dewey Dash (ages 10 and under). The Dewey Dash is FREE for everyone 10 and under. All participants will receive a surprise at the finish line! Register your kids for the Dewey Dash at the Marshall School the morning of the race starting at 8:00 a.m.

9:30 -- 5K start for runners and walkers of all ages, so BOOK IT for the Billerica Public Library! Our race will be officially timed by RaceWire. The 5K starts and ends at the Marshall Middle School, traveling through the surrounding roads and neighborhoods. For the safety of all participants, walkers and anyone with a stroller or wagon will start at the back of the pack; also, please leave your pets at home.

10:00-11:00 -- Post-Race Fun and Awards!
Race Fees
$30 – Online preregistration*
$35 – Day of Race registration
$20 – Senior Citizens (65+)
$90 -- Family Registration (for up to 5 members of a single household ONLY)
$35 -- Virtual 5K (Run or Walk 5K at any time convenient for you! Register by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, April 22nd, and we will mail you a tech shirt.)
Fantasy 5K--Donation of your choice!

For those who do not wish to register online, registration may also be done in person at the library; ask for a form at the main circulation desk. We can accept cash or a check made out to the Billerica Library Foundation.
T-shirts
All paid 5K registrants (including those registering for the "Virtual 5K" option) will receive a free tech shirt if the registration is received by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, April 22nd. Anyone registering after April 22nd may receive a shirt while supplies last; sizes are not guaranteed. Virtual 5K participants will receive their tech shirts by mail.
Awards
NEW FOR 2019: a CASH PRIZE of $100 will be given to the top Male and Female finishers; they will also receive a free entry to next year's race.

Awards will also be given to the top 3 Male and Female overall finishers.
Parking
Ample free parking is available at the Marshall Middle School.
Bib Pick-up
Bib pick-up will be held on Saturday, May 18th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Billerica Public Library, 15 Concord Road, Billerica, MA 01821. Bib numbers can also be picked up the morning of the race at the Marshall Middle School starting at 8 a.m.
Proceeds
All proceeds will benefit the Billerica Library Foundation and the Family Friends of the Billerica Public Library. Both organizations work to support the library in our mission to provide responsive service to our patrons.
