5K RUN/WALK: 10:45 AM
• Online registration ($25.00) will close on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 12:00 noon. All 5K registrants receive a technical t-shirt and a tote bag - while supplies last!
RAFFLE NEWS: All online 5K registrants are eligible for this year's raffle prize of (4) Red Sox tickets (flexible dates) along with a VIP tour of Fenway Park.
• In-person Race Day registration fee is $30.00 and will be open on Saturday, May 11th from 9:30am - 10:30am.
• The 5K Run/Walk starts at 10:45 am.
Post Race
• Awards will be given out to the top three male and top three female finishers in the 5K.
• Awards will be given out to the top girl and boy youth (through age 15) finishers in the 5K.
KIDS' FUN RUN: 9:30 AM
• Online registration only ($10.00)
•REGISTRATION FOR THE KIDS' FUN RUN CLOSED ON APRIL 30, 2019. There will be NO race day registration for the Kids' Fun Run. All registered children should be checked in at registration to receive a race bib.
• The Kids' Fun Run will start promptly at 9:30 am with YOUNGEST children going first.
• All registered children will receive an official medal.
• Race distances will be age-appropriate; children will be grouped by age (2-3, 4-5, 6-7 and 8+). In 2018, most children who participated in the Kids' Fun Run were 8 years and under.
• Post Fun Run entertainment by Sara Kunz.
NEW THIS YEAR - Fundraising through 99Pledges
• Proceeds from the Lexington Montessori School (LMS) 5K Run/Walk will go to the 2018 - 2019 LMS Annual Projects Fund.
Over the years many of you have wanted to help raise money for LMS through this event. We're finally making it happen!
Shortly after registering for the event you will receive an email from 99PLEDGES giving access to your (or your family's) own sponsorship/fundraising page should you wish to raise money for LMS. This is totally voluntary and we ask that you simply disregard the email if you are not interested.
• LMS is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization; contributions are tax-deductible.
Packet Pick-up
• Packet pick-up will be held at Lexington Montessori School on Friday, May 10, 2019 from 2 pm - 5 pm.
• Participants will also be able to pick up their packet race day from 9:15 am to 10:15 am.
Parking
• Limited parking is available in the Lexington Montessori School (LMS) lot until 9 AM. PLEASE NOTE: If you choose to park in the LMS lot you will be required to stay until after the 5K has been completed - (approx. 11:45 AM)
• Parking is also available at the following locations:
- on the LMS side of Pleasant Street (except for the cut-out across from the Rte 2 off ramp)
- on the LMS side of Lawrence Lane
- in the neighborhood of Worthen Road East
- Bowman School parking lot
• PLEASE do not park in areas where "No Parking" signs have been posted. Thank you!
