About the Race
Crowning the Waterville Plateau, the small community of Waterville is surrounded by large expanses of wheat fields and a spectacular view of the majestic Cascade Mountain Range. Founded in 1885 and incorporated in 1889 by the Territorial Charter, it holds the long-standing claim as the highest incorporated town in Washington State with an elevation of 2,625 feet above sea level.
Come Join us and test your lung capacity! The “Thin Air 5k” race is just one small part of the Waterville Days Festival activities.
If you do not want to participate, you may find a member of the Waterville youth sports community to run it for you!
All proceeds will benefit Waterville Youth Sports!

Race Packet Pickup
Race number and t-shirt pickup will be available on the Friday night before the event during the Fire Department Dinner in the Pioneer Park as well as before the race on Saturday Morning from 8 AM until the start of the race. Sign up is available on Friday night before the event but it will cost $2.50 more and we cannot guarantee shirts.

The Race will start and finish in Pioneer Park, Downtown Waterville Washington

Race shirt order will be placed on June 20th. After the 20th we can not guarantee a shirt or correct sizing.
