BC MBA 5K for YES, Youth Enrichment Services. The BC MBA 5K is returning in 2019, and we want you to start planning for a fun-filled run/walk on Saturday, April 6th.

Registration Includes:
- Snacks
- Bottled water
- Prizes for race winners
- Race tee and race kit
- Raffle
- And much more!

The race will start and finish on BC's campus, outside of Gasson Hall. The most convenient parking areas are the Boston College parking garages on campus (fees apply) or metered parking on Beacon St. There are bathrooms available in the surrounding academic buildings.

The BC MBA 5K is thrilled to partner with YES, Youth Enrichment Services. YES is a private, nonprofit organization which provides affordable and impactful sports-based youth development and leadership programming for Boston children and teens. YES believes deeply in the transformative power of engaging youth in active outdoor activities. Its mission is to inspire and challenge youth with physical and mental activities that foster lifelong respect for self, others, and the environment.

To enjoy the privileges of participation, I will adhere to all codes of conduct not limited to but including those listed below: I understand that as a participant in the above I am expected to behave in a manner that is consistent with the principles of Boston College. Inappropriate behavior may result in removal. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISKS As a potential participant, I know that running/walking in a road race is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run/walk/ride unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run/walk. I assume all risks associated with running/walking in the BC MBA 5K, including but not limited to falls, contacts with other participants, the effects of the weather including high heat and/or humidity, low temperature, traffic, conditions of the road, conditions of the trail, and all risks being known and appreciated by me, including injuries no matter how well conditioned I may be. Depending on the nature of the activity, injuries may be minor to fatal in nature. USE OF BOSTON COLLEGE FACILITIES- In consideration of participation in the above, I understand that I assume the risk of using Boston College facilities and shall indemnify Boston College for all damages I cause. Any personal property that I bring to Boston College is my sole risk and is not the responsibility of Boston College. I release Boston College from any liability for loss, damage, or theft of such property. Further, I shall reimburse Boston College for any loss, expense, repairs, or damages to Boston College property resulting from use of said property. I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Boston College, its trustees, officers, employees, and students from all claims, suits, actions and liability including legal and defense cost arising, or alleged to arise, out of injuries or damages sustained by any persons, person, property (including without limitation claims on alleged defamation or infringement of rights to copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property) on account of or in consequence of any act or omission, neglect or misconduct, or in violation of any law, ordinance, or regulation, by the undersigned, its representatives, employees, agents, assignees, which was caused to occur doing my use of Boston College facilities. INFORMED CONSENT AND RELEASE In consideration of Boston College providing support for this program and allowing me to participate. I AM ASSUMING FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR MY ACTIVITY while participating in the above event, and I specifically assume the risk of negligence of others including Boston College, its employees, agents, officers or trustees. BY SIGNING THIS FORM, IT IS MY INTENT TO WAIVE MY RIGHTS TO MAKE LEGAL CLAIMS AGAINST OR TO SUE BOSTON COLLEGE, ITS AGENTS AND REPRESENTATIVES FOR DAMAGES AS COMPENSATION FOR ANY INJURIES SUSTAINED BECAUSE OF MY PARTICIPATION IN ITS ACTIVITY. IT IS MY INTENTION TO RELEASE BOSTON COLLEGE ITS AGENTS AND REPRESENTATIVES FROM LIABILITY TO ME BECAUSE OF MY VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION IN THIS ACTIVITY. I also grant permission for the use of any photographs, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of my participation in this event for any legitimate purpose. I understand that if the race is canceled because of circumstances beyond the control of the race committee and sponsors, including, but not limited to unsafe weather conditions or governmental ban, my entry fee will not be refunded.
