Two Races and a Howlin' Good Time
NEW DATE - WEDNESDAY - July 31, 2019

Join us for the 11th Annual Running With the Wolves 10K and the 2nd Annual White Fang 5k! Both races start at Kelleher Field in Marlborough and follow a beautiful, car-free, out-and-back course on the scenic Assabet River Rail Trail. Both races feature an exciting stadium finish inside Kelleher Field where your friends and family can cheer you on from the grandstand.

All participants who registered before 7/17/19 will receive a tech race shirt. Everyone gets a finisher's glass and a ticket to our Howl at the Moon After Party with free food and live music!

We have several shirts left for new registrants, we just cannot guarantee size.
These will be given out first come, first served.
5k & 10k Details
Register early! The races can sell out due to the capacity limits of the Assabet River Rail Trail.

UPDATED Race Date: Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at 6:30 PM, rain or shine

Start & Finish Location: Kelleher Field, 72 Jefferson St, Marlborough, MA

Race Courses: Participants of both the 5k and 10k races will enjoy the beautiful, car-free Assabet River Rail Trail. The 10k race is on a USA Track & Field Certified course. The White Fang 5k follows the same car-free course as the 10k, with an earlier turnaround. The 5k is not yet USATF certified.

Entry Fees for Both Races: $30 until July 14th. $35 thereafter. Students 18 and under are discounted $10.

Awards: Top overall male & female finishers, and top male & female finishers of each age group - (18 and under), (19-29), (30-39), (40-49), (50-59), (60+)

Team/Corporate Challenge: Trophy to the company or team with the most runners participating in the races.

Amenities: Water stations, restrooms, post race refreshments, post race party, tech race t-shirts, and finisher glasses

Cancellation Policy: If we are forced to cancel or reschedule the races due to weather or other unforeseen event, all registration fees from runners who cannot participate will be donated to local charities. There will be no refunds.

Highland City Striders is a registered public charity organization pursuant to 501 (c)3.

If you picked up your packet before the original race date, you are all set, just show up ready to run on 7/31/19 at 6:30 PM.
If you did not pick up your packet, please come as early as 5 PM to the start line area to collect your bib and awesome swag pre-race.
Unregistered Runners
If you did not register yet, we are re-opening online registration until midnight on Sunday July 28, 2019.
The races have a combined cap of 550. We have sold 90% of the bibs, so if you want to run on the new date, please register early to guarantee your spot! We will close registration once we sell out.
Custom Bibs
If you would like your name or nickname on your bib, you must register by June 17th. All registrations after June 17th will be number only.
Time Limit
There will be a 90 minute time limit on both races. Walkers will be turned around at 45 minutes even if they haven't reached the turnaround point. Walkers are encouraged to participate in the White Fang 5k instead of the 10k in order to best meet the time restriction.
Participant Cap
Due to capacity limitations of the Assabet River Rail Trail, the combined capacity for the 5k and 10k is 550 participants. Register early to ensure your place!

I hereby certify that I will not participate in the Running With The Wolves 5K/10K Road Race unless I am physically fit and sufficiently trained for competition in the race. I also grant permission for the use of my name and or picture in any broadcast, photograph, or other account of this race. I understand that bicycles, skateboards, baby joggers, or strollers, roller skates, or blades, animals, and radio headsets are not allowed in the race and I abide by this guideline.
