About Shattuck Partners
Shattuck Partners, Inc. funds and provides arts, vocational, recreational and therapeutic support programs and services for patients of the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital, a public health hospital in Jamaica Plain. The hospital cares for a largely under-served population of our most vulnerable medically and mentally ill neighbors. Please join us in supporting these men and women on their journey of recovery, healing, and hope!
About the 5K Course and the Festival
The 5K course begins and ends in the "picnic table area" of Franklin Park, next to the entrance to the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital parking lot where you'll park, then walk back down around the fence -- just look for the people and festivities! The course loops around Scarborough Pond, then around the William Devine Golf Course, and finishes back in the picnic table area. For a more detailed course map, go to https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/2192198446.
Registration is required for running or walking in the 5K. All are invited to enjoy the festival, and donations are suggested for those not participating in the 5K. Proceeds will benefit patient programs.
The festival will run until 12pm and will feature food, entertainment and kids activities.
We hold this year’s event in loving memory of friend, long-time board member and inaugural 5K Race Director, Terry Dolan, who passed away unexpectedly in April. Terry’s legacy lives on in so many ways including through this event.
