About This Event
**Rain or shine, we will be hosting this event outdoors. Please dress appropriately for the weather. Pop up tents will be provided.**
Strength Over Silence (SOS) invites people of all ages to participate in the Second Annual Walk for Wellness. The goal of SOS is to raise public awareness about mental health and suicide prevention. SOS is a student-led organization developed by the award-winning Project Strength Over Silence Club at San Juan Hills High School.
The Walk for Wellness features a walk on the peaceful and scenic San Juan Hills High School track from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. We encourage participants to set their own pace and duration. As a chance to win prizes, participants will also receive a raffle ticket for every two laps they complete.

The walk will take place at San Juan Hills High School's track.
Donations
Donations can be made at our website: https://www.strengthoversilence.net or at the event. All donations will be tax deductible. Money raised from the Walk for Wellness will be used to support the San Clemente Wellness and Prevention Center.

I agree to abide by any decision of the Project Strength Over Silence (SOS) Club of San Juan Hills High School relative to any aspect of my participation in this event, including the right of any official to deny or suspend my participation for any reason whatsoever. I attest that I have read the rules of the walk and agree to abide by them. I assume all risks associated with participating in this event, including but no limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, traffic and the conditions of the school, all such risks being known and appreciated by me.
I understand that bicycles, skateboards, roller skates or roller blades, and animals are not allowed at the event. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and inconsideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Walk for Wellness, the city of San Juan Capistrano, the Project Strength Over Silence (SOS) Club, San Juan Hills High School, Capistrano Unified School District, San Clemente Wellness and Prevention Center, and all event sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver.
I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use my photographs, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose. I understand that this event does not provide for refunds in the event of a cancellation, and by signing this waiver, I consent that I am not entitled to a refund if the event is cancelled before or during the event.
