BOOK IT for your library! We're going VIRTUAL for 2021!
Join us for a 5K fundraiser to benefit the Billerica Library Foundation and the Family Friends of the Billerica Public Library, to make YOUR library even better! Runners, walkers, friends and families, all are welcome. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, this year we're going VIRTUAL. Complete a 5K anywhere, anytime during the month of May, and support YOUR library while you do it. Indoor or outdoors; walk, hike, or run, it all counts towards the fun!
This year, it's all about the BLING...
This year we will have a CUSTOM medal created by Ashworth Awards for the first 100 registrants. If you're a runner, you know Ashworth Awards has created some of the coolest race medals around, including the BayState Marathon and Half Marathon, the Feaster Five, and the Wild Rover Race Series, as well as for major Ironman competitions. Be sure to register early to guarantee your medal.
Course
Anywhere, anytime during the month of May. Run your favorite route, take your dog for a long walk in a park, hike a trail, or hop on a treadmill. It's up to you!
Race Fees
$25 -- VIRTUAL 5K, Individual -- In addition to supporting the library, your registration includes a CUSTOM race medal* and bib.
(*Medals are limited to the first 100 registrants, so don't hesitate!)
Bib Pick-up
"Bib and Bling" packets will be available for pickup at the library starting some time in late April. You can choose to come into the library to pick up your packet at the main desk, or schedule contact-free curbside pickup. Any packets not picked up by June 1st will be mailed.
Proceeds
All proceeds will benefit the Billerica Library Foundation and the Family Friends of the Billerica Public Library. Both organizations work to support the library in our mission to provide responsive service to our patrons.
