VERDUGO MOUNTAINS 10K NEWS
Dear Friend of the Verdugo Mountains 10K,
We’ve all been working hard, and looking forward to the 10th Anniversary Verdugo Mountains 10K, scheduled for Sunday, May 3rd, 2020. But sadly, due to the unprecedented impact that COVID-19 has had on all of us, the City of Glendale has been given no choice but to cancel this year’s event in order to protect the health of our community.
We had hoped to postpone the VM10K to a date later in the year, but, for a number of reasons, this proved to be impossible. So we’ll have to wait until next year to celebrate our 10th Anniversary. Race day has already been set – May 2, 2021. We hope you can join us, and we’ll let you know the minute registration is open.
For those of you who have already registered, RaceWire will give full refunds in the coming days. Please email if you don’t see the refund in your account by the end of next week. We would like to offer the option to defer your race entry to 2021, but unfortunately, due to reasons of financial logistics, we are only able to offer full refunds at this time.
Our hearts go out to all of you who have been training for our event - no one shares your passion more than we do. Look at the bright side: you’ve just been given an extra 365 days to get in the best shape of your life for the 2021 Verdugo Mountains 10K!
We look forward to seeing you, and celebrating with you, on May 2, 2021.
Thank you for your passion, your dedication, and your understanding.
