What is Outrunning Homelessness?
Outrunning Homelessness Run, Walk or Wag is our annual 5K race and 2.6 mile walk typically held at DCR’s Borderland State Park in Easton, Massachusetts. This year we've gone virtual to ensure students facing homelessness continue to have what they need to remain engaged with learning during COVID-19. Your support provides more than 6,000 students with grade-level and customized backpacks, ensures one-on-one tutoring and personalized high school and college mentoring for our state's most vulnerable students.

I understand the potential hazards connected with running/walking and state that (participant’s name) _______________________________ is physically able to participate in the Virtual Outrunning Homelessness Race/Walk/Wag on Saturday, May 2, 2020, and has no known medical conditions which would indicate that he/she/I should not participate. I will abide by all social (physical) distancing mandates as directed by the Governor of Massachusetts and Massachusetts DPH. As parent/legal guardian or myself, I waive any and all claims against any agency, sponsor, municipality or individual connected with the Outrunning Homelessness Race/Walk/Wag for any injury, loss, or damage arising from his/her/my participation in the Race/Walk/Wag. I hereby give my permission for his/her/my image to be used in any photo, film, or video of the event for any purpose. I agree to ensure that he/she/I will abide by the rules set forth by the organizers of the Race/Walk/Wag and that my dog is capable and of temperament to not harm other dogs or people and up-to-date with all vaccinations, including rabies.
