29th Annual DC ROCKS 5 Mile Race and 2 Mile Walk
Please join us for the DC ROCKS, First Virtual Run (15 SEP 20 - 31 OCT 20), and our overall 29th Annual 5 Mile Run and 2 Mile Walk! The DC ROCKS Chapter has a history that stretches back more than four decades! This Annual Run is entering its 29th year of promoting excellence in Reserve Officer Training Corps Programs (ROTC), Mentor-ship, Professional Development, Scholarships and Esprit De Corps. The event serves as one of our annual fundraisers to achieve our Scholarship Goals; additionally, to promote community and health!
Finisher Medal and More!
This year since we are hosting the event virtually, their will be a DC ROCKS finisher medal that all who registered will receive via mail!

Medals will be presented (mailed) to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in 3 categories: Male, Female and School competitors.

In order to compete for and win in these categories you must ensure to update your finish times once you complete your run or walk.
Posting Results
An email will be sent out to you once you sign up giving instructions on how to post your time. You can use any run tracking app or device to score your time. You will have 46 days to complete your run or walk from 9/15 to 10/31 and then post your time.

You can provide the opportunity to pay for a Cadet to compete! Simply select the Sponsor a Cadet option and chose run.

I acknowledge that running a road/cross country race is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run/walk. I assume risks associated with running/walking in this event including, but not limited to: falls, contact with other par­ticipants, effect of the weather including high humidity, traffic and the condition of the road, all such risks being known and ap­preciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf waive and release the sponsors of the ROCKS 5-Miler, PVA, USATF, and any other sponsors and their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participating in this event even though liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photographs, motion picture, recording, or any other record of this event for any legitimate pur­pose. I realize that medical support for this race will consist of volunteer medical personnel prepared to administer first aid type assistance along the race course and at the finish line.
