Event Details
Since 2017, NHS Track and Field and Cross Country Teams have put on an event to promote the sport. This year the NHS TF&XC Boosters are hosting the Masked Leprechaun Virtual 5k. The cost is $15 per runner (& an option for a T-Shirt for an additional fee). Medals will also be given to runners 14 and under. You have TEN days to run! Complete the 5k anytime between 3/17 and 3/27.

Through your generous donations last year alone, the teams:
· Purchased breakaway belts for sprint training
· Purchased and indoor track surface for sprinting and hurdling
· Purchased athlete awards and "athlete of the meet" T-Shirts
· Provided money for two Student Scholarships

Additionally, the program is hoping to be able to get funds to pay for:
· A storage locker for equipment at the track
· Strength equipment for use by all athletes

The coaches and students are indeed very grateful to you and your enthusiastic support of our community!

There will be prizes for top time finishers with proof of 5k distance.

Result Submission / Results
We accept results on the honor system, so you can track your distance and time however you like. The most accurate way to do this is by using a running GPS watch, but there are also several free smartphone apps available for iPhones and Android devices.

Please submit your results using the link found in the confirmation email you receive after you register for the event.

Results will be published to RaceWire following the event.
