Rudolph Rumble 5K Run/1M Fun Walk Mary T. Klinker Center Benefit
This 5K Run/1M Fun Walk is mapped out on the grounds of Cosgray Christmas Trees, so participants will travel through several acres of beautiful trees. The 5K/1M costs $25 which includes a long sleeved t-shirt, bib, and a bag of goodies. Day-of registration and packet pick-up begins at 8AM the day of the race. Breakfast will be served from 8AM-12AM. Participants will receive a complimentary breakfast pass. Breakfast will also be available for anyone else attending for a free will donation, with all proceeds going to M.T.K. Resource Center.
The Mary T. Klinker Veterans Resource Center is a chapter of the Disabled American Veterans. They offer free services to homeless and at-risk veterans and their families, including providing resources, peer to peer counseling and financial assistance.
In any given night in the U.S. there are almost 200,000 veterans homeless and sleeping on the streets of our cities. M.T.K. Resource Center's goal is preventing homelessness in veterans. The Center assists veterans in the Tippecanoe and surrounding counties. They provide an initial contact point for veterans that are in trouble, identifying their problems and assisting them in finding solutions. The Mary T. Klinker Resource Center is a non-profit organization, and they are funded primarily though fund raising projects and donations.

In consideration of the risk of injury while participation in the 5K/1M Fun Run Rudolph Rumble (the "Activity"), and as consideration for the right to participate in the Activity, I hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrator, assigns, or personal representatives, knowingly and voluntarily enter into this waiver and release of liability and hereby waive any and all rights, claims or causes of action of any kind whatsoever arising out of my participation in the Activity, and do hereby release and forever discharge Cosgray Christmas Trees, LLC., located at 11402 East 700 North, Idaville, Indiana 47950, their affiliates, managers, members, agents, attorneys, staff, volunteers, heirs, representatives, predecessors, successors, and assign, for any physical or psychological injury, including but not limited to illness, paralysis, death, damages, economical or emotional loss, that I may suffer as a direct result of my participation in the aforementioned Activity, including traveling to and from an even related to this Activity. I acknowledge that this Activity may involve a test of a person's physical and mental limits and may carry with it the potential for death, serious injury, and property loss. This risks may include, but are not limited to, those caused by terrain, facilities, temperature, weather, lack of hydration, condition of participants, equipment, vehicular traffic and actions of others, including but not limited to, participants, volunteers, spectators, coaches, event officials and event monitors, and/or producers of the event. In the event that I should require medical care or treatment. I am aware and understand that I should carry my own health insurance.
