Mission Possible VI Virtual 5K Run/Walk benefiting the City Mission's Crabtree-Kovacicek Veterans House Race Waiver:
Each participant, and parent or guardian of youth participants, must agree to this Waiver for themselves and on behalf of any youth participant whom they are registering. Please read carefully. I understand that walking and running in races are potentially hazardous activities.
As a participant in the Mission Possible VI 5K Run/Walk benefitting the City Mission's Crabtree-Kovacicek Veterans Residential Facility (the “Event”), I, for myself, my executor, administrators, heirs, devises and/or assigns, do hereby do waive and release the Mission Possible VI 5K Run/Walk, the Township of Peters, the City of Washington, the County of Washington, the event site, the City Mission, their management, their officers, board members, employees, members, sponsors, volunteers, organizers or their representatives, or their successors and all cooperating businesses and organizations, from any and all claims of injuries, damages, demands, actions, illnesses, death and causes whatsoever in any matter arising from or growing out of my participation, or that of my child in the event. I assume every risk associated with participating in the Event including, but not limited to, falls, contact with Event participants or volunteers or with vehicles, the effects of the weather, and course conditions, all such risks being known and appreciated by me.
Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, and in consideration of your acceptance of my application, I attest that I will participate in this Event as a footrace, that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained for the completion of this Event. Furthermore, I hereby grant full permission to use my name and likeliness, as well as any photographs and any record of this Event in which I may appear for any legitimate purpose, including advertising and promotion.
I understand that the $25/$35 registration fee is a non-refundable gift to the City Mission to benefit the Crabtree-Kovacicek Veterans House in case of withdrawal on my part or cancellation due to inclement weather or unavoidable circumstances surrounding the Covid-19 Pandemic.
