About The Race
The FBE Apple 5K and 2K races are events that are a celebration of education in Belmont. The 5k race passes by four of Belmont's schools (Burbank, Chenery, Wellington, and the High School) and recognizes Belmont's commitment to educating its young. The proceeds from the race will fund the Education Innovation Fund for the Foundation for Belmont Education, a 501c3 non-profit organization that works with residents and businesses in Belmont, Massachusetts to raise private funds that are used to enrich the education provided by the Belmont Public Schools.
