About the Program
NOTE - The program is currently full for all teams at both time periods. DO NOT REGISTER unless you have permission from the director to fill a waiting list spot.
The Needham Youth Track Club Winter Track Program is open to children age 8-14 who like to run and want to improve their skills, while exercising during the Winter season. The program has two sessions (9:15 - 10:20 am) and (10:40 - 11:45) on Sundays from December 19, 2021 - February 27, 2022 and is held at Babson University Athletic Center. The weekly sessions include practice run(s), drills and warm up and down. Children will be placed in groups appropriate to age, ability, and experience. Children will have the opportunity to participate in hurdles, but no other field event (except for the meet at the end of the season). Part of the session may include skill based event training. Children must wear masks and are encouraged to be fully vaccinated. Only children permitted to the practices - no parents or other family members. Children should be mature enough to handle themselves for the whole session with parent involvement. We will encourage those interested to compete in various indoor meets (including the Northeast Indoor Classic on March 6). Winter program children get a free registration to the March 6th meet - if held. We do not provide transportation to meets. The season tuition includes an NYTC Indoor Team T-shirt, all sessions, coaching support, and facility rental. For more, information see www.needhamtrack.org

I assume all risks associated with participating in this meet including, but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, officials, or spectators, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. I attest that my child is physically fit and trained to compete in this meet. My signature authorizes the use, without compensation or any further consideration, of any photographic product (picture, film, or video) generated at this meet.
