Event Information
Annual Heart of the Valley 5K to support childhood obesity and youth programs in West Covina
The Rotary Club of West Covina has provided funds for the past seven years to local schools in the West Covina Unified School District to provide funding for programs that address child obesity in their schools. This year we are expanding our efforts to support not only program impacting childhood obesity but youth programs in the City of West Covina.

T-Shirt/Goodie Bag Distribution
T-Shirts and goodie bags will be distributed from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Friday, April 8th at Plaza West Covina - Second Level
Awards
Awards will be handed out to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each age category with an overall male and female grand prize winner.
Parking/Race Location
Parking is free and volunteers will be available for directions to parking areas day of event.

Race is on the south side of the Plaza located by Firestone Tires on California an West Covina Parkway. Directly in front of Panera Bread.

Race is certified by USATF.

I additionally permit free use of my name and pictures and broadcasts telecasts, newspapers, periodicals, website and brochures that report to promote this event.
