Event Information
Tarentino Strong 5k run/walk 2022
The mission of the ORTJ Charitable Fund is to lead by example in Acts of Kindness, Acts of Generosity and Service to the Community. Through the ORTJ Charitable Fund, donations are made and services are provided to families experiencing loss, illness or tragic events, including families of first responders and military. We grant scholarships to graduating high school seniors pursuing secondary education in community-service oriented careers. We sponsor programs within local school systems that promote kindness in the hope to put an end to bullying and school violence by involving students in positive outlets and a connection to their community. We have identified opportunities for officers and youth to invest their time and talents in community programs, to build relationships and foster a sense of respect, service and commitment.
