***Online Registration has closed, to register for the remaining 5k bibs or the kid's fun run, please do so at the Steele Building 7/3 from 9am-12pm or 7/4 from 7am-8am before the race. Bibs are limited so first come first served! *****
This annual event is a wonderful, family friendly 5k that will take you around beautiful Powder Point in Duxbury on the morning of July 4th.
The Duxbury Education Foundation (DEF) organizes the event. The DEF receives, administers, and disburses funds for educational, scientific and charitable purposes to be used to develop, support and assist programs which benefit the students, teachers, and staff of the Duxbury public school system.
The course will begin in the parking lot of the High School Turf on St. George Street. Registration will be outside the Steele Building at the back of the parking lot. Runners will travel on St. George to the flagpole on Washington Street, left onto Washington, right onto King Caesar, left onto Upland, another left back onto King Caesar and then left onto Powder Point. Race finishes with a right at the flagpole, back onto St. George and back to start line.
Male and Female top finisher: <10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-39, Masters (40-69) and 70+,
Male and Female top 3 finishers: Overall

Bibs and t-shirts can be picked up at the Steele Building on Friday July 1st from 4-7pm or Sunday July 3rd from 9-12pm.
Kids Fun Run
RECOMMENDED AGE: Under 8. There will be a half mile kids fun run on the grass field in front of the Steele Building (moved from high school track given construction.) It will begin at 8AM so you can watch the little ones run before the actual 5k begins at 8:30. This is a great way for Chandler-aged kids to get moving! T shirts for the Fun Run participants this year!!!!
