About This Event
The Thompson Turkey Trot started in 2008. It is a cross country 5K that incorporates trails, fire roads and disused paved roads through the beautiful West Thompson Dam Recreation area. The event supports Thompson Trails, Parks, Recreation and the TEEG food pantry. The is a chip timed event.
Registration
Online registration closes at noon on November 12th. Day of registration will be available after this date, and will cost $30. We are only able to accept cash or check on the day of the race.

**Please note that the 3k walk/fun run is not a timed event, and is not part of any awards **

Please note that if you early bird register (on or before 10/24) you will be guaranteed a t-shirt.

Check In
Check in will be at Overlook Shelter beginning at 8:30 am. Parking close to the event does fill up and those showing up later may have to walk a short distance to get to the start line. Please arrive early.
Awards
- Awards to first male and female runners overall
- Awards to top three male and female runners in each age division.
- Award to the team with the most overall members
- Award to the school with the most overall members

**Race awards for Top Runner Overall Male/Female; Top 3 males and top 3 females in each age division; and the team race award are only for participants of the 5k Trail race**
Directions
From north or south, 395, Exit 50, Turn onto Rte 200 East. Follow to stop sign. Turn right onto 193. At stop light continue straight onto West Thompson Road. Go over the dam. Thompson Dam Overlook Shelter gates will be first right after the Army Corps garage parking lot.

Virtual Runners
Interested in participating and supporting a great cause, but are unable to make it to tghe event? Consider being a virtual runner! Virtual runners can register for the event, run 5k at their convenience and location, and then log their time with Racewire.

**Please note that if you do choose to be a virtual runner, you will not be able to qualify for any of the day of awards, or receive a t-shirt. Registration fee is $25.
