Fund Raiser for VNA Hospice of the Southwest Region
As in past years, proceeds from this Fun Run will be going to VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region (formerly RAVNAH).
T-shirts, Awards and Raffle prizes!
-T-shirts to the first 100 entrants.
-Awards for the overall male and female finishers, the youngest female and male runners and the most senior male and female runners.
-Raffle prizes. Drawing will immediately follow the race .Winners will be picked at random from the registered entrants that are present at the time of the drawing.
Course route
Start at the entrance to the Poultney Elementary School (PES ) driveway (at the fire hydrant). Start by going LEFT (east-ish) along Allen and then Wheeler to York Street. Right on York St. Go all the way to the New York border ( bridge) and then left onto Greenfield Lane (bike shop) to the end. Turn around and come all the way back along York St. to College St. and then right onto College St. to Main St. Left on Main St. to the rail trail. Left on the rail trail. Head north until the path that leads to the power line north of the school. Left off the rail trail onto the field behind the elementary school, past several light posts and turn left where directed ( the tennis courts will be on your right) and then through the gate. Back to the PES entrance.
