About the Cause
Clínica Esperanza (Hope Clinic), a 501(c) 3 organization, offers primary medical care to uninsured Rhode Island residents with an emphasis on Spanish-speaking and culturally accustomed care. The clinic helps tackle a major public health problem and unnecessary cost in the American healthcare system: overuse of the emergency department for non-emergent medical needs due to uninsurance.
On November 6, 2022 the Bryant PA Program in partnership with the Maddie Potts Foundation will host the 5th Annual Run for Hope 5k. Proceeds from the event will benefit Clínica Esperanza. Our fundraising goal this year is $15,000!
All of the proceeds will be directly used to stock the clinic medical supplies, provide support for patient health education programs, and provide patients with home medical devices. Furthermore, this clinic creates invaluable learning experiences and professional development for future healthcare professionals from both the Bryant PA Program and Brown Warren Alpert Medical School.
Race Map
The course will take you around the Bryant University campus. Maps will be available and posted on race day. There will be plenty of signage directing you to parking and the course path.
