Parking
Please park at the Assabet Valley High School 215 Fitchburg St. Marlborough. There will be a shuttle bus transporting you back and forth from the Moose Lodge.
Remembering Our Angels 5K
SATURDAY - MAY 13, 2023
Join us for our 6th Annual Remembering Our Angels 5K! The run/walk starts at the Moose Lodge in Marlborough and follows an out-and-back course on the scenic Assabet River Trail.
All participants who register before the T-Shirt Deadline 4/21/23 will receive a tech race shirt guaranteed! Everyone is welcome to attend our after party with free food and music!!
Team Sharing
Team Sharing, Inc is a national organization of parents who have lost a child to Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Through social networking, community activism, grief services and advocacy, Team Sharing provides support and friendship to grieving families while working to raise awareness of Substance Use Disorder and it's impact in our communities.
5K Details
Race Date: Saturday, May 13, 2023
Start & Finish Location: Moose Lodge, 67 Fitchburg St. Marlborough, MA
Race Course: Participants of the 5K will enjoy the beautiful, car-free Assabet River Trail.
Entry Fee for Both Races: $30 for in-person and virtual event including a t-shirt. $25 for virtual event without t-shirt.
Awards: Top overall male & female finishers, and top male & female finishers of each age group - (18 and under), (19-29), (30-39), (40-49), (50-59) (60+)
Team Challenge: Trophy to the team with the most runners/walkers participating in the race.
Amenities: Water stations, restrooms, pre and post race refreshments, post race party, raffles, and tech race t-shirts
Cancellation Policy: If we are forced to cancel or reschedule the race due to weather or other unforeseen event, all registration fees from runners/walkers who cannot participate will be donated to Team Sharing. There will be no refunds.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Do you want to help remember our angels lost to SUD? Here's your chance! Sponsorship opportunities range from $250 to $2,500+ with different levels of runner/walker interaction and an opportunity to have a lawn sign displayed in front of the Moose during the race. Waiver
I acknowledge that my participation in road races, classes, or other event(s) as well as activities related thereto (collectively, the "Event") host by Team Sharing involves a risk of injury, including bodily injury, and I assume the risk for same. On my own behalf and on behalf of my heirs and legal representatives and to the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release and discharge Team Sharing, Inc, the City of Marlborough and their respective directors, officers, employees, affiliates, members, agents and representative, of and from any and all liability for injury, death or damages and/or any claims, demands, losses or damages, incurred by me in connection with any aspect of the Event. I grant permission to the releases to use or authorize others to use any photographs, motion pictures, video or sound recordings, and/or and other record of my participation in the Events, including name, portrait, picture, likeness, image and/or biographical information, including but not limited to age, gender, domicile, race results, for any purpose without remuneration.
