Who are we?
Women are strong, but women UNITED are stronger. United Way of Greater New Bedford’s Women United and WOMEN RUN Inc. are teaming up for a Mother's Day run. Women Run United Mother's Day 5k run is a fun & healthy event where family and friends come together to honor the amazing women in their lives and raise funds to bridge the gap and ignite positive change for women in our community.
What is the event?
A scenic 5k RUN & FUNDRAISER with a START at the Dartmouth YMCA, over the Padanaram bridge, through the village, and FINISH at the YMCA.

Dartmouth YMCA - 276 Gulf Hill Rd, Dartmouth, MA
Carpooling is ENCOURAGED, there will be parking in the YMCA lot and overflow parking within walking distance.
While we love our furry friends, no DOGS allowed this year.
When is the race & free t-shirt info!
Mother's Day, Sunday, May 14, 2023, at 9 am. Start time may be delayed slightly (10 minutes) if the Padanaram Bridge opens at 9 am.
We can only guarantee a free t-shirt if you register before May 1st. There will also be a price increase on May 1st so this is even more motivation to register today!!
Registration price INCREASE on May 1st to $50, $30 & $120.

Waiver and Release of Liability
1. By signing this Waiver and Release of Liability (Agreement), I waive and release United Way of Greater New Bedford, Inc. and WOMEN RUN Inc., its agents, servants, employees, insurers, successors and assigns from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages or suits at law and equity of any kind, including but not limited to claims for personal injury, property damage, medical expenses, loss of services, on account of or in any way related to or growing out of
my presence or involvement at the facility.
This waiver and release is intended to and does release United Way of Greater New Bedford, Inc. and WOMEN RUN Inc., from any and all liability for damages or injuries on account of or in any way related to or growing out of my negligence, the negligence
of third parties and United Way of Greater New Bedford, Inc. and WOMEN RUN Inc.'s negligence. This is not intended to release United Way of Greater New Bedford, Inc. and WOMEN RUN Inc. from any liability resulting from their intentional conduct.
I further covenant and agree not to institute any claims or legal action against United Way of Greater New Bedford, Inc. and WOMEN RUN Inc. for any claim released by this Agreement. I further agree that should any claim be made against United Way of Greater New Bedford, Inc. and WOMEN RUN Inc. in contravention of this Agreement, including but not limited to derivative claims, I will protect, defend, and completely indemnity (reimburse) United Way of Greater New Bedford, Inc. and WOMEN RUN Inc. for any such claim and expenses including attorney’s fees and costs incurred by United Way of Greater New Bedford, Inc. and WOMEN RUN Inc. in defending themselves or security indemnity hereunder.
2. I understand that United Way of Greater New Bedford, Inc. and WOMEN RUN Inc. is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged
valuables or property.
3. I acknowledge that I have received and read a copy of the current rules and regulations governing the use of the
facility. I agree that I will fully comply with all rules and regulations and with any amendments.
I have read the Agreement and understand that by signing the Agreement I have consented to be bound by its terms, including the waiver/release of any legal right, I may have to sue United Way of Greater New Bedford, Inc. and WOMEN RUN Inc. for any costs they incur because a claim or legal action is brought in violation of this Agreement. I agree any violation of the Agreement and its terms and conditions, as determined by United Way of Greater New Bedford, Inc. and WOMEN RUN Inc. will void and terminate this Agreement and may result in loss of the ability to use the facility.
I am signing this Agreement freely, voluntarily and competently and am at least eighteen (18) years of age, or the parent/guardian of a participant under the age of eighteen (18).
