46th Annual Turkey Trot
The 46th Annual Turkey Trot races begin and end at Vincent Lugo Park located at the corner of Wells and Ramona in the City of San Gabriel. The top three finishers in each age category will receive a special medal. All proceeds from this event will go toward enhancing youth programs in San Gabriel.
Early Bird Registration September 1-30, 2023:
$35 - Kids 1K
$40 - 5K Walk/Run & 10K Run
Regular Registration October 1-29, 2023:
$45 - Kids 1K
$50 - 5K Walk/Run & 10K Run

The schedule for the event is as follows:
6:00 am Pre-registration packet pickup
Day of registration opens
6:45 am 10K Run and 5K Walk registration closes
7:00 am 10K Run and 5K Walk starts
7:10 am 5K Run registration closes
7:25 am 5K Run starts
8:00 am 1K Youth Run registration closes
8:15 am 1K Youth Run starts
*Awards and Raffles held throughout the races

WAIVER MUST BE SIGNED
I, the undersigned, fully understand that me and/or my child’s participation in the City of San Gabriel, Department of Community Services’ event (hereinafter "event") exposes me and/or my child to the risk of personal injury, death, communicable diseases, illnesses, viruses, or property damage. I further understand and acknowledge that there are dangers, inherent and otherwise, in me and/or my child participating in the event during the current COVID-19 pandemic such as the risk of acquiring COVID-19 and transmitting it to others. I hereby acknowledge that I am voluntarily enrolling me and/or my child for participation in this event and agree to assume any such risks.
I hereby release, discharge and agree not to sue the City of San Gabriel (hereinafter “CITY”) or any of its officers, employees, agents and volunteers for any injury, death or damage to person or property, or for any loss of personal property arising out of, or in connection with, my child’s participation in the event from whatever cause, including the active or passive negligence of the CITY, its officers, employees, agents and/or volunteers or any other participants in the event.
In consideration for me and/or my child being permitted to participate in the event I hereby agree, for myself, my heirs, administrators, executors and assigns, that I shall indemnify and hold harmless the CITY and its officers, employees, agents and volunteers from any and all claims, demands actions or suits arising out of or in connection with my child’s participation in the event/class.
My child and/or I am/are physically able to participate in this event. I acknowledge that NO MEDICAL INSURANCE IS PROVIDED by the City for the event. I authorize the City to provide or cause to be provided such medical treatment as may be necessary or appropriate if any injury occurs while me and/or my child is participating in the event. I agree to pay for any medical treatment that me and/or my child may require while involved in this event.
I hereby consent to the use of photographs depicting me and/or my child in City printed materials and/or website.
I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS WAIVER, RELEASE, HOLD HARMLESS AND AGREEMENT NOT TO SUE AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS. I AM AWARE THAT IT IS A FULL RELEASE OF ALL LIABILITY AND SIGN IT OF MY OWN FREE WILL.
