Then join us for the 'Flippin' the Bird' - Virtual Turkey Trot 2023 and run wherever and whenever you’d like, while also helping kids in need!

A percentage of all registrations will be donated to Every Kid Sports, providing youth sports registration fees for kids from income-restricted families. An option for additional personal donations will be available at registration.

Where:
Run anytime and anywhere! We have to add a date to the race, but many runners choose to run after the assigned race day. The “Flippin the Bird” Virtual Run can be completed in your own neighborhood, on your favorite running trail, at the park, or even on a treadmill. Sign up and invite your friends and family to join as well!

What is a virtual run?
A virtual race is a run that can be done anywhere you choose, at any pace. We welcome runners, walkers, and joggers of all ages. Though you can even use your treadmill, one of the reasons for hosting this event is to get people outdoors.
How Does it Work?
This event is a fun run, so the only winners are you for staying active and the children who receive a donation. Although there is a race date assigned to the race of 11/23, you can run on that date or any date after and at your own pace, wherever you'd like.
How Do I Track my Distance and Time my Run?
We accept results on the honor system, so you can track your distance and time however you like. The most accurate way to do this is by using a running GPS watch, but there are also several free smartphone apps available for iPhones and Android devices. A shared Google sheet will be emailed to all runners after 11/23 that you can add your time to if you'd like to see how you stacked up to other runners.
What is a Digital Bib?
You will be able to download a custom Digital Bib from our website after you register that you can print off at home and wear when you run.
Can I Participate if I Live Abroad?
Yes, we anticipate runners from around the globe participating, but we can only ship to US and Canadian addresses.
Can I use Social Media to Publicize my Run?
Of course! We encourage you to invite your friends and family to join you to make your run a lot more fun and to help raise more funds for Soles4Souls! Show the online world your effort, take a selfie, share your race course, your SWAG, and your story! And please don’t forget to tag Racewire on Facebook and Racewirelive on Instagram and use hashtag #Flippinthebird23.
When Will I Get my Medal and T-shirt?
Shirt and medals will be mailed in early November and will arrive a few days before the race date on 11/23. You must register by October 30, 2023 to ensure you receive shirt & medal by race day 11/23. If you register after Oct 30, you can still run on a later date once you receive your SWAG.
