About the Event
Welcome to our 2nd Annual Knights of Columbus 5K! Our inaugural event was a huge success, attracting over 100 participants and raising more than $2500 for local charities.

Our volunteer non-profit group has been fundraising and helping out in the Millbury-Sutton area and surrounding community since 2001! All net proceeds from this year's race will again benefit those in need from Millbury, Sutton and Worcester via The St. Vincent de Paul Society and Urban Missionaries of Our Lady of Hope's outreach helping "the least, the last, and the left out."

Location
Parking and registration are at Wheelock Inn, 82 Wheelock Ave., Millbury, MA.
Course
Three short hills, all in the first half of the course, lead to a fast downhill, then flat finish. Start and Finish adjacent to parking and number pick-up/registration site.

Registration
$35* per runner / walker. In person entry fee is $40**

$20* per runner / walker under 18 years old. In person entry fee is $25**

*Entry fee includes post-race buffet breakfast

**online registration closes at 11:59 pm on Tuesday, September 24th.

All pre-registered runners will be entered into a drawing for valuable prizes.

Participants registered by September 15th are guaranteed a race T-shirt. After September 15th, a limited number of race T-shirts may be available.

As a participant in the Sutton-Millbury Knights of Columbus 5K and all its activities on 9/28/2024, I know that running is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter or run this event unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I assume all risks associated with running in this race including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, insect bites, the effect of weather, including high heat, cold or precipitation, the conditions of the road and traffic on the course, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, and in consideration of your acceptance of my application, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Millbury-Sutton Knights of Columbus, all race sponsors, organizers and volunteers of this event; the Town of Millbury, The Wheelock Inn, their representatives and successors, from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. All fees are non-refundable. I give permission to the Sutton-Millbury Knights of Columbus to reproduce prints and display in all print and electronic format, any photographs of me. I understand that these pictures will be utilized to promote the programs and activities of the Knights of Columbus.
