About the Fitzy Fun Run/Walk
Kick off the summer on Thursday, May 30th, at FitzGerald Elementary School's 6th Annual Fitzy 5k Fun Run/Walk! Friends and families from all over Waltham and our neighboring communities join this fundraiser every year. Funds raised from this popular neighborhood event help FitzGerald's Parent-Teacher Organization support enrichment programming, field trips, author visits, community events, and more for over 400 children in Kindergarten through 5th Grade.
On race day, join us at FitzGerald Elementary School (138 Beal Rd., Waltham) for pre-race stretching at 5:30 pm. Official race start time is 6:00 pm. After the race, stay for ice cold treats and family games hosted by FitzGerald PTO.
Course
The 3.1 mile course will zigzag its way through the Warrendale neighborhood. The race will start and end at the FitzGerald Elementary School -138 Beal Road in Waltham.
Important Information Regarding T-shirt & Bib Pick-up
T-shirt sizes are guaranteed if you register by April 29th! After the April 29th, runners will be given a t-shirt closest to their requested size, on a first come first serve basis.
T-shirts and bibs will be sent home with your student a few days prior to the event. If you DO NOT have a student at FitzGerald, t-shirts and bibs will be available prior to the event on a day and time TBD...

Entry Fee
Entry fees are $15 for children and $25 for adults.
There will be a $5.00 price increase starting May 21st. Please make sure to register early!
