2024 Race Information
The 20th annual Welles Remy Crowther Red Bandanna 5k will be in-person and open to all**. For those of you who are unable to join us in person, you can still run with us virtually, at your convenience. (Please note, in-person and virtual runners will both need to register by Wednesday, 10/16.)

**COVID notice: If Covid concerns require it, the race will revert to virtual (or virtual for non-BC community). Please be advised of this possibility when making your travel plans. If we must make changes due to Covid, your registration status will be adjusted, but refunds cannot be offered. Thank you for understanding.

Race Day Check-in and Registration
Check-in and (limited) race day registration begins at 7:15am in Gasson Hall, Room 100 on the Boston College campus. All participants must be checked in/registered by 8:15am. The race begins at 9am in front of the Gasson Hall eagle.

Race Gear
Every registered runner will receive a red bandanna!!
Virtual runners: Please register by 10/8 to get your bandanna by mail before 10/19. (You will still receive a bandanna if you register after 10/8, but it may not arrive by 10/19.) A race bib will be emailed to all virtual runners.
*BC students, faculty, and staff will receive additional information the week of the run about how to pick up their race gear.

READ WAIVER BEFORE SIGNING I know that running is a potentially hazardous activity. I will not enter and run unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I assume all risks associated with participating in the event including, but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants and people, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, traffic and the conditions of the road, and unforeseen events, all such risks being understood and willingly accepted by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of you accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the trustees, officers, employees, and agents of the Welles Remy Crowther Charitable Trust, Red Bandanna Runners, the Crowther Family, the Volunteer and Service Learning Center of Boston College, Boston College, the City of Newton, the City of Boston, and all sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims, damages, and liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event even if the claim, damage, or liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in the waiver. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of this event for any purpose. I also understand that all fees are non-refundable.
