About This Event
On Saturday, April 27 MacArthur Elementary School will host our first ever MacArthur 5K & Fun Run! This event is sponsored by the MacArthur School Parent Teacher Organization.
Our school has roughly 480 students and the PTO provides money for field trips, cultural events, special programs, classroom supplies and other educational materials to enhance our children’s education. All of the money raised during our 5K & Fun Run will go directly to supporting these areas.

Parking: The race will start behind the school. Parking will take place in the MacArthur lot

Facilities: The school building will be open for bathroom usage ONLY.

Post Race Party: Water and light refreshments will be provided after the race. We will also have face painting, a bounce house, and a DJ!

This event will happen rain or shine! There is no rain date.
Course
You don't need to be a runner to take part in this event! Participants will have the option to run or walk through our entire 5K (3.107 miles) or our Family Route (approx. 1 mile). The race will start and end behind the MacArthur School.
Awards
The first 60 Adult and 40 child participants that register will get a free t-shirt!

Medals will be awarded to the Top 3 Adult Winners, Top 2 for K & 1st grade, Top 2 for 2nd & 3rd grade, and Top 2 for 4th & up

I know that running can be hazardous. I agree that I am entering this race with the physical ability to complete it safely.
