About Waterside School
Waterside School is a co-educational PK-5th Grade independent school serving children and families regardless of limitations in income or circumstance. The School attracts and inspires students of academic promise and families deeply invested in their children’s success.

Timing
Registration begins at 8am and the Race will begin at 9am.
Raffle
Raffle tickets will be available for purchase on race day
Race Course
The race will start and end at the Waterside School (770 Pacific Street). The course is very flat and will run through the local neighborhood streets, loop around the new Commons Park, along Harbor Point's new waterside development, into Kosciuszco Park, and back across the finish line in front of Waterside School.

Directions
FROM THE SOUTH
Take I-95 North to Exit 7 – “Greenwich Avenue.” At the traffic light at the end of the ramp go STRAIGHT. At next light turn RIGHT onto Washington Boulevard. At fourth light turn LEFT onto Pacific Street. At first Stop sign you will see the School on your RIGHT. Turn RIGHT onto Belden Street and then take first LEFT into the parking lot behind the School.

FROM THE NORTH
Take I-95 South to Exit 8 – “Atlantic Street.” At the end of the ramp, go STRAIGHT and stay in the left lane. At second traffic light take a LEFT onto Atlantic Street. Get into the right lane. At fifth light take a LEFT onto Washington Boulevard. At first light turn LEFT onto Pacific Street. At first Stop sign you will see the School on your RIGHT. Turn RIGHT onto Belden Street and then take first LEFT into the parking lot behind the School.

FROM WASHINGTON BLVD
Heading South on Washington Boulevard. Stay on Washington Boulevard past the train station. After going by the train station at third light turn LEFT onto Pacific Street. At first Stop sign you will see the School on your RIGHT. Turn RIGHT onto Belden Street and then take first LEFT into the parking lot behind the School.
Parking
Street parking is available on the surrounding streets. Additional parking may be available at the Pitney Bowes Building at 1 Elmcroft Road. The Waterside School's parking lot will be closed, as it will host after race activities.

I know that running a road race is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter unless I am medically able and properly trained. I assume all risks associated with participating in this event including, but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, traffic and the conditions of the road, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry to participate in the Waterside School 5K (herein after the “Event”) to be held on October 13, 2012 in Stamford, Connecticut, I, intending to be legally bound, do hereby for myself, my heirs, my executors and administrators agree as follows: 1. I do waive and forever release any and all rights and claims for any damages and liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in the Event against all persons, entities and agencies involved with promoting and holding the Event, including but not limited to Waterside School all of the subsidiary entities of all sponsors, volunteers and vendors of the event, their agents, successors, representatives and assigns even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. 2. I assume the risk of all bodily injuries, including death, resulting there from, and personal injuries to me and damage to and loss of my property, including loss of use thereof and any other indirect or consequential damages, resulting directly or indirectly, wholly or in part, from my participation in the Event and while traveling to and from the Event. 3. I hereby agree, for myself and/or for a minor under the age of eighteen for whom I am signing, to indemnify, defend, and hold the entities named above harmless from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses and damages, costs, expenses (including attorney’s fees) judgments and penalties arising out of any of my, and or said minors, acts or omissions to act: 4.
