Online registration for the Moody Street 5K is now closed. You can still register in person (addl $5 fee) at the Skellig, 240 Moody Street, from 2-6 p.m. on Saturday 5/4 or 10-11:30 a.m. on Sunday 5/5.

About the Event
The Third Annual Moody Street 5K will be held Sunday May 5, 2013 starting at noon on Moody Street, heading south, with a beautiful course finish along the Charles River. The race is a fundraiser supporting enrichment and athletic programs for Waltham Public secondary schools and is generously sponsored by The Skellig. Participation and friendly competition from all Waltham schools is encouraged with prizes awarded for top finishers, best school representation, plus a variety of community-based awards. We're once again proud to be part of the Race Around Waltham Series (RAW) which encourages participation in all Waltham races and tracks runners, walkers and volunteers for prizes. Party and refreshments post-race at The Skellig. Runners and walkers welcome -- tell your friends and bring the kids!

In consideration of acceptance of this entry, I hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, waive and release all and any rights and claims for damages I may have against McDevitt School PTO, Kennedy Middle School PTO, the City of Waltham, DCR, RAW Series, sponsors, race officials, organizers and volunteers associated with this event for injury that may occur as a result of my participation in this event. I also give permission to use my likeness and publish my name in the news media. Bicycles and in-line skates are strictly prohibited. Violators will be disqualified.
