Directions
From north or south, 395, Exit 99, Turn onto Rte 200 East. Follow to stop sign. Turn right onto 193. At stop light continue straight onto West Thompson Road. Go over the dam. Thompson Dam Overlook Shelter gates will be first right after the Amy Corps garage parking lot.

GPS: 182 W Thompson Rd, Thompson, CT.
Check In
Check in will be at Overlook Shelter beginning at 8:00 am. Parking close to the event does fill up and those showing up later may have to walk a short distance to get to the start line. Please arrive early.
Pledges
Runners raising $50 or more in pledges should contact Thompson Recreation to register for the event in order to have the registration fee waived.
Awards
- Trophy to first male and female runners overall
- Awards to 1st and 2nd place male and female runners in each age division.
- Award to runner with highest amount of money in pledges.
- Team race award: 1st 5 score, any gender (must complete team sheets prior to start of race)
- Door prizes!!!

About This Event
The Thompson Turkey Trot started in 2008. It is a cross country 5K that incorporates trails, fire roads and disused paved roads through the beautiful West Thompson Lake Recreation area. The event benefits the TEEG Holiday Food Bank, Thompson Trails, Parks and Playgrounds. In 2013, for the first time, the event will be chip timed.
